In order to know about optimal green techniques, I took a two-month research on local organic food in the DC area. The food I sampled during the course of my research was really tasty. To complete my research, I went to local farmers and grocers to check their quality of food.
Besides, during the period of study, I came to know that beef, chicken, turkey, honey, organic milk, and eggs are coming from different areas to Northern Virginia. Though, I visited countless stores yet I found The Common Market in Frederick, Maryland the best store in the whole area. This store has a big selection of organic foods.
No doubt, there is no shortage of farmer markets in my area yet all stores do not offer you the best quality of food. To me, the following were the best stores:
The Common Market (Frederick, Maryland)
Food For Thought (Culpeper, Virginia),
The Home Farm Store (Middleburg, Virginia)
The Natural Mercantile Store (Hamilton, VA)
The Natural Marketplace (Warrenton, Virginia)
All of the above mentioned stores have highly professional staff apart from fresh food.
