The Most Wonderful Meal of the Year? It’s Time for Festive Holiday Brunch

Brunch restaurant for the holidays

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and that means it’s officially time for Christmas. Some holiday traditions are welcome fun, like decorating a tree and dropping not-so-subtle hints to your friends and family what you hope to find under the tree. Other traditions are less exciting, like hearing the same Christmas songs over and over and over until you’re bleeding from the ears.
But in the past decade, a new holiday tradition has been picking up steam across the country. It combines the most important meal of the year — brunch, obviously — with the fun and excitement of Christmas morning.
Yes, it’s Festive Holiday Brunch Season!

Brunch With Santa!

If you have little ones in your life, then you get to experience the blind enthusiasm and unbridled joy they feel at the very mention of the name “Santa Claus.” And while you might be too old to believe that jolly St. Nick is hard at work up at the North Pole wrapping up your presents, that doesn’t mean you’re too old to get in the Christmas spirit.
Lately, a number of restaurants, banquet halls, and golf club events have begun throwing annual Brunches With Santa. These festive holiday brunches feature a true smorgasbord of tasty dishes, drinks, and deserts, with a Santa Claus on hand to liven things up for the season.
But don’t forget to make your reservations soon if you’re planning on visiting a brunch restaurant for the holidays. While some brunches with Santa are held weekly leading up to Christmas morning, some of the top brunch destinations only hold one or two festive holiday brunches a year.
That means you only have a small window of time to make your reservation for Sunday or Christmas morning brunch. What better way to give yourself a well-deserved break during the holidays than by letting someone else prepare your entire family a delicious breakfast buffet?
After all, are there any words in the English language that bring more joy than the words “Santa Claus,” “Christmas,” and “brunch buffet“?
